CorrBarrier
Description: CorrBarrier is a fast drying, water-based PVC one coat system (primer) that provides protection in harsh, outdoor, unsheltered applications when topcoated. The complex mixture of non-toxic, organic inhibitors offers protection that competes with most paints and zinc-rich primers. Provides multi-metal protection. Product is often used as vehicle undercoat/ under the hood applications.
Application: Substrate should be free of grease, oil, dirt, fingerprints, drawing compounds, rust inhibitors, or any other surface contamination that could affect adhesion. For production line applications, use VpCI-440 or similar phosphatizing pre-treatment. For structural steel applications, Cortec® recommends a minimum of a NACE #3/ SSPC-SP6 commercial blast clean. Consult Cortec® and/or test system adhesion prior to full scale application.

CorrVerter® Rust Primer
Description: CorrVerter® is a fast drying, water-based one coat system (primer) that converts rusted surfaces to a hydrophobic passive layer and prevents further rusting thru the unique formulation of chelating agents and PVC resins. It provides long term corrosion protection by itself or by topcoating for extended performance
Application: Substrate should be free of grease, oil, dirt, fingerprints, drawing compounds, rust inhibitors, or any other surface contamination that could affect adhesion. For production line applications, use VpCI®-440 or similar phosphatizing pre-treatment. For structural steel applications, Cortec® recommends a minimum of a NACE #3/ SSPC-SP6 commercial blast clean. Consult Cortec® and/or test system adhesion prior to full scale application. It is recommended to remove any loose rust prior to application.

CorShield® Gold
Description: CorShield® Gold is a brilliant true gold colored waterbased coating. It has excellent salt spray and humidity resistance similar to VpCI®-386 Aluminum and is available in one package system. CorShield® Gold provides protection in harsh, outdoor, unsheltered applications. The complex mixture of nontoxic organic inhibitors and a platelet type gold pigment offers protection that can compete with zinc rich coatings. This special combination of additives, a platelet pigment, and a polymer barrier, significantly retards the reaction of metal ionization and repels water. It protects against corrosive electrolytes and aggressive environments, thus preventing corrosion.

EcoLine® 3680
Description:
EcoLine 3680 is a temporary coating formulated with USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) certified biobased, renewable and biodegradable raw materials; which allows use for corrosion protection of equipment where incidental contact with food is possible. EcoLine 3680 leaves a tenacious, dry-to-touch protective coating, wax-like film that can be removed with alkaline cleaners such as Cortec® VpCI-414.

EcoShield® Barrier Coating for Paper and Corrugated
Description: EcoShield Barrier Coating is a water borne barrier coating that is recyclable and 100% repulpable, effectively eliminating the need to use traditional wax and polyethylene papers. In addition, the coating can be utilized on kraft and recycled paper to seal the surface from contaminants that could cause corrosion. The combination of a contaminant sealant and a repulpable coating for kraft paper makes EcoShield Barrier Coating a pioneer in the packaging industry. This material can also be used as a coating on liners for corrugated boxes providing a waterproof moisture barrier. EcoShield Barrier Coating also gives excellent oil and grease resistance.

EcoSonic® ESD Paper powered by Nano-VpCI®
Description: Cortec® EcoSonic® ESD Paper combines corrosion inhibiting and static-dissipative properties to provide a complete packaging paper for your valuable items. This product eliminates static electricity buildup through the use of an environmentally friendly coating made from soybean oil that is coated onto the surface of the paper. EcoSonic® ESD Paper performs better on the static half life test (a test with an environment consisting of little or no humidity) than papers with conventional anti-stat coatings consisting of Alkyl Ammonium Chlorides, typical ethoxylated amines, typical imidazolines, phosphated esters, and nonionic based antistat coatings.

VpCI®-369
Description: VpCI®-369 is our best inhibitor for use as an oil additive and/or temporary coating. The protective film is self-healing and moisture-displacing, providing superior protection against aggressive environments. VpCI®-369 is also excellent when used as an oil additive for mothballing, shipping, or storage of parts and equipment. In small percentages, VpCI®-369 has a minimal effect on viscosities.

Description: VpCI-371 is a high temperature aluminum solventborne silicone coating that provides excellent corrosion resistance on metal substrates. VpCI-371 will dry tack free at room temperaturein about 20 minutes to 5B hardness. After the coating has been heated it will have a 9H hardness.

VpCI®-380 Railcar Coating
Description:
VpCI-380 Railcar Coating is a unique, direct to metal (DTM), fluoropolymer modified water-based acrylic. Designed specifically for the railcar industry, the coating also demonstrates excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates including ferrous and non-ferrous metals and certain engineered plastics. The complex mixture of nontoxic, organic inhibitors offer protection that can compete with most primer / topcoat systems.

VpCI-380 provides a fast-drying thixotropic coating that exhibits alkyd-like gloss, flow, and leveling properties with good resistance to sag. The hardness and moisture resistance properties make it an excellent choice for air-dry / force-dry industrial finishes. It gives optimal outdoor performance without cracking or chipping upon prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Application:
When VpCI-380 is applied in 3-5 mil DFT, it can be used as a topcoat and primer. VpCI-380 can also be used as a topcoat with Cortec’s VpCI-395 primer.

Note: Make sure dew point is more than 5°F (2°C) less than air temperature for application.

Power agitate to a uniform consistency using a “squirrel cage” type mixer, hand-held drill mixer, or other equivalent method.

VpCI-380 can be applied by spray , flow coat, brush, or dip.

VpCI®-381
Description:
VpCI-381 is a waterborne urethane-acrylic hybrid dispersion. It is a one component topcoat designed to be used over various primers, such as VpCI-374, 375, 395 & 396. VpCI-381 can be prepared in almost any color desired, including clear. The major advantage of this top coat is that offers excellent adhesion to moisture cured primers and other primers even after it has fully cured. VpCI-381 has excellent wetting, high gloss, and excellent exterior durability when used over a primer.

VpCI®-384
Description: VpCITM -384 is a two-part white urethane top coat designed to be used over a moisture cure urethane primer, such as VpCI-396. VpCI-384 can be prepared in almost any color desired. VpCI®-386 Aluminum
Description: VpCI®-386 Aluminum is a unique, water-based primer/topcoat that successfully provides protection in harsh, outdoor, unsheltered applications. The complex mixture of non-toxic, organic inhibitors and an aluminum pigment offers protection that can compete with most paints and zinc-rich primers. VpCI®-386 Aluminum is superior to many coatings with only inorganic pigments because the resistance has been improved by using a highly corrosion resistant aluminum platelet type pigment with organic corrosion inhibitors. The special combination of additives provides a composite polymer barrier that significantly retards the reaction of metal ionization and repels water. A protective film is adsorbed onto metal surfaces. It protects against corrosive electrolytes and aggressive environments, thus preventing corrosion.
Application: VpCITM-386 Aluminum can be used as a topcoat/primer. When solvent-based topcoats are applied over VpCITM- 386 Aluminum, compatibility must be checked. VpCITM- 386 Aluminum can also be used as a topcoat with Cortec® VpCITM-374 or VpCITM-395 as a primer.

VpCI®-386 HT Black
Description: VpCI-386 HT Black is a unique, high heat resistant water-based acrylic silicone primer/topcoat. The complex mixture of non-toxic, organic inhibitors, and silicone compounds offers excellent outdoor weathering and thermal heat protection.
Application: VpCI-386 HT Black can be used as a topcoat/primer. When solvent-based topcoats are applied over VpCI-386 HT Black, compatibility must be checked. VpCI-386 HT Black can also be used as a topcoat with Cortec® VpCI- 374 or VpCI-395 as a primer.

VpCI®-391 Non-tacky temporary Coating
Description: VpCI-391 is a fast drying, water-based temporary coating that provides protection in harsh, outdoor, unsheltered applications. Provides multimetal protection. Excellent UV resistance. Can be matched to some custom colors. Provides a non-tacky film. Use of VpCI®- 391 on weld joints does not negatively impact weld geometry or mechanical properties of the weld. It can be used to keep surfaces corrosion-free prior to welding.
Application: Substrate should be free of grease, oil, dirt, fingerprints, drawing compounds, rust inhibitors, or any other surface contamination that could affect adhesion. For structural steel applications, Cortec® recommends a minimum of a NACE #3/ SSPC-SP6 commercial blast clean. Consult Cortec® and/or test system adhesion prior to full scale application.

VpCI®-392
Description: VpCI®-392 is a fast drying, waterbased urethane dispersion one coat system (topcoat) that can be applied DTM (Direct to Metal) and provides protection in harsh, outdoor, unsheltered applications. The complex mixture of non-toxic, organic inhibitors offers protection that competes with most paints and zinc-rich primers. Provides multi-metal protection.
Application: Substrate should be free of grease, oil, dirt, fingerprints, drawing compounds, rust inhibitors, or any other surface contamination that could affect adhesion. VpCI®-812 Wax/Paste
Description: VpCI®-812 Wax/Paste is a long-lasting, high-shine wax and rust blocker containing high performance vapor corrosion inhibitors (VCI). VpCI®-812 Wax/Paste stops corrosion, ultraviolet (UV) rays and fiberglass oxidation that silently attacks the finish of vehicles beneath the shine.
Application: Apply VCI-812 Wax/Paste to painted metal surfaces. After the paste dries, buff it off with clean cloth.

VpCI®-819
Description: VpCI®-819 Wax/Rinse shines, seals and protects metal surfaces using vapor corrosion inhibitors. VpCI®-819 is formulated for application in high or low pressure sealer arches in automatic car washes and is safe for all paint finishes. VpCI®-819 penetrates into finishes, sealing paint and metal surfaces from the damaging effects of corrosion.
Application: VCI-819 Wax/Rinse should be applied to painted finishes with high, medium or low pressure spray. No other finishing treatment is necessary before air drying surfaces.
