During storage or shipment of parts, the transparency of the CorrCap™ makes it easy to identify specific assemblies and to visually inspect the condition of an assembly without removing the elastic cap. CorrCap™ stops oxidation, tarnish, corrosion, and rust. Effective for most ferrous and non-ferrous metals, Cortec's patented VpCI® forms a micro-thin inhibiting layer on exterior metal surfaces. Its unique vapor phase action reaches all recessed areas, voids, cut-outs, and crevices that are readily prone to overnight tarnish and flash rusting. The micro-thin VpCI® layer provides clean, safe protection. Cortec® VpCI® does not require any removal. Parts are ready for immediate use without the need for cleaning or degreasing, thus saving labor, material, and chemical disposal costs.
