Environmentally Friendly Bull Frog® In Rust Remover Gel For years, the normal method of removing rust has been harmful to both the user and the environment. Bull Frog® Rust Remover comes in a ready-to-use gel that is simple to apply, safer for the user and easier on the environment. With Bull Frog® Gel after the rust is gone, it puts on a protective molecular umbrella to stop new rust formation. Conventional rust removers can easily damage sensitive metal surfaces by aggressive chemical attack. Worse yet, rust can return almost as quickly as it was removed, allowing new corrosion and rust build-up to further destroy the metal surface. Unlike other rust removers, Bull Frog® Gel contains VpCI®s (Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor™). They bond electrochemically with the metal surface to seal out air and moisture that quickly cause new rust. For the first time, the same patented technology that is proven effective for a wide variety of items from military jets to electronics on naval vessels to the Alaskan and Siberian Pipeline can be used for many household items such as toys, tools, hardware, fences, bicycles, machinery, lawn and garden equipment. As an innovative, "green chemistry" formulation, Bull Frog® Rust Remover is organic, completely biodegradable, and non-toxic. It has been specially designed as a low environmental impact product that is "Safer For The Pond We Live In." The product is water-based, does not have any high VOCs and is non-flammable. Its low impact formulation is better for people as well. During use, it does not permeate the air with harsh chemical vapors that can overpower the user to set-off coughing and breathing difficulties. Bull Frog® Rust Remover is easy to use. Simply apply the gel to the metal surface. Its gel consistency makes it effective for both horizontal and vertical surfaces like fences, tools or equipment housings. After application, the gel stays where put and does not run off flat surfaces or slide down vertical surfaces. Allow the product to penetrate the rusty surface for 15 minutes, then rise with water. The gel can be reapplied as necessary. (For heavy rust, allow the gel to work on rust for 1 to 2 hours before rinsing.) Because of its more mild, low-impact nature, the rust remover doesn't harm existing paint or damage metal surfaces. Unless metal has severe corrosion, the gel doesn't harm electrical, mechanical or chemical performance. Bull Frog® Rust Remover is available in 16 oz gel applicators.
