New Cortec® Safe-T-Charge Makes Adding Chemicals Safe and Easy

Cortec's new Safe-T-Charge packages its heavy-duty cleaner degreaser in a safe and easy-to-use PVA water-soluble bag. Available in pre-measured amounts of 1, 5, and 10 pound sizes, an operator simply picks up a bag that equals the desired dosage size and drops them in the cleaning tank or pressure spray tank. The Safe-T-Charge lets the operator handle the cleaner/degreaser without touching chemicals, using scoops or shovels, or wearing any special safety equipment. It further eliminates chemical spillage and slippery work areas.

Safe-T-Charge VpCI^{TM 417 utilizes Cortec's advanced, eco-friendly technology to enhance environmental and worker safety. The Safe-T-Charge bag is completely biodegrade and water soluble, dissolving in water within a few minutes. It provides powerful cleaning action to react with tenacious soils such as carbon, grease and oils lifting them from the surface so water can wash them away. Safe-T-Charge brings this strong cleaning action without using any harmful caustics or phosphates. The VpCITM 417 Cleaner Degreaser is non-flammable, nitrite-free, and non-toxic. Unlike many cleaners, it does not present hazardous disposal problems.}

Specially designed for multi-purpose application methods, Safe-T-Charge VpCI® 417 can be used both in the factory and in the field. It is thermally stable so it can be used effectively in ambient or elevated temperatures such as in steam cleaning. Although it does not require mechanical action for cleaning, Safe-T-Charge contains non-silicone defoamers for powerwash and pressure spray applications.

Formulated for clean rinsing action, the product eliminates the need for a secondary, clean water rinse after removing soil and dirt. In addition to cleaning most hard surfaces, it effectively cleans glass and plastic without leaving any residual films. The Safe-T-Charge Cleaner Degreaser incorporates Cortec's patented VpCI® corrosion inhibition technology to prevent flash rusting on ferrous metals.
