Compatibility of VpCI™-705 with Jet Fuel
Background:
GM Canada would like to use VpCI-705 to protect fuel tanks
as an additive to Jet Fuel.
Purpose:
To determine if VpCI™-705 is compatible with JP-8 and DF-2
Jet Fuel.
Materials:
VpCI™-705
JP-8
and Pseudo JP-8
DF-2
Additives:
Biobor JF (Biocide), Select 3 (Diesel Fuel Conditioner)
Method:
Standardized Compatibility Test
Procedure:
The following solutions were mixed:

The
solution was mixed thoroughly and placed inside a refrigerator
for 8 hours. The containers were then placed in an 80 °C
oven for 16 hours. The samples were inspected when moved, and
this cycle was repeated three times.
