VpCI® Dragon and VpCI® Dragon FO

DESCRIPTION
Designed for the complex interiors of large boiler and steam systems, VpCI® Dragon is a ready-touse, waterborne fogging fluid offering multi-metal protection. Ideal for the long– and short-term dry layup, VpCI® Dragon’s vapor phase properties provide continuous protection against corrosion throughout the entire boiler system, with no direct-to-metal application required.

As a safer, more effective alternative to traditional boiler layup options, such as desiccants, quicklime, or nitrogen blankets, VpCI® Dragon makes boiler preservation virtually hands-off. Just fog VpCI® Dragon into the drained boiler system, and Cortec®’s unique Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors form a molecular barrier on all metal surfaces inside, including recessed or otherwise hard-to-reach areas.

As a further economic incentive, boiler systems preserved with VpCI® Dragon can be returned to service immediately, with no cleaning, degreasing, or flushing required.

VpCI® Dragon is also available as VpCI® Dragon FO, a ferrous-only version.

PACKAGING & STORAGE
VpCI® Dragon is available in 5 gallon (19 L) pails, 55 gallon (208 L) drums, 275 gallon (1,045 L) totes, and in bulk. To ensure best product performance, keep sealed in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40–100° F (4–38° C).
