Technical Service Staff Grows

This spring Mike Hobday was promoted as the new Technical Service Supervisor. As part of the ongoing growth plan of this department, two new Technical Service engineers were hired. First was Julie Noreen, who obtained her Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota, last December. Julie initially joined Cortec in 1993, in the sample department. By 1994, she was serving as the laboratory secretary. Next in 1996, she entered the Chemical Engineering School at the U of M. She continued to work part time in our laboratory during her academic years. The second addition to the Technical Service staff was Brian Wuertz, Material Scientist who joined Cortec in May. Cortec's technical support staff is a critical link in providing application solutions for our sales managers, manufactures representatives, distributors and customers worldwide.
