ISO 9001 and Soon ISO 9001:2000

Cortec Corporation recently announced that their Quality Management System has been re-registered as compliant with the International Standard ISO 9001. This is Cortec's third time and its seventh consecutive year of being registered. This achievement was a direct result of the entire organization working together in effectively developing and maintaining the Quality System in order to be registered.

Cortec has also passed the audit of its quality management system to the requirements of the newest revision of DIS (Draft International Standards) ISO 9001:2000 standard. Cortec is one of very few companies in the world to have successfully passed this audit. (As soon as the new standard is published, probably by November of this year, Cortec will be granted the new ISO 9001:2000 Certificate.) Cortec Corporation has demonstrated their commitment to quality and to the continuous improvement of their management system by successfully achieving registration.
