VpCI® Gusset Bags Replace Silica Gel and Elbow Grease

For high value-added metal components, products and machinery, Cortec's new VpCI^TM Gusset Bags are replacing one of the most popular forms of corrosion protection, silica gel and elbow grease. With this new, high density barrier bag the user simply places the product in the bag and seals it with a twist tie, crimp, or heat seal. Metal products placed in a Cortec^® VCI Gusset Bag can be perfectly clean. No other corrosion protection is required. Metal is protected against corrosion for up to 24 months in storage, on the shelf, or even export shipment overseas by ship. When ready for use, products are easily removed from the bag and are ready for immediate use. No dusting, cleaning or degreasing is needed.

Cortec VCI Gusset Bags come in a variety of convenient sizes to easily handle items such as bins of small electronic components or small office machines to large shafts, or custom sizes for truck engines and printing presses. The bags translucent barrier allow easy see-through for fast product identification and inspection without opening the bag.

The Cortec bags eliminate the failure of silica gel in preventing rust from over saturation in high humidity and aggressive atmospheres.
