POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Product & Marketing provides senior leadership for Cortec’s product management and marketing functions. This role is accountable for defining and executing product and marketing strategies that support revenue growth, market expansion, and disciplined commercialization across direct and distributor-based channels.
This leader owns the connection between product strategy, market positioning, and commercial execution, ensuring that decisions are grounded in customer insight, market data, and financial performance. The Director of Product & Marketing partners closely with Sales, Strategic Growth, Innovation, Operations, and Supply Chain to translate strategy into clear priorities, executable plans, and measurable outcomes that support Cortec’s global business objectives.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Product (Line) Management Leadership
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle across Cortec’s product portfolio, including strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, and ongoing portfolio optimization.
- Establish and maintain clear product line strategies aligned to market demand, customer needs, and Cortec’s growth objectives.
- Lead product line planning, including pricing strategy, margin management, product positioning, and lifecycle decisions (launch, sustain, enhance, rationalize).
- Partner closely with Innovation, R&D, Regulatory, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure product feasibility, compliance, manufacturability, and successful execution.
- Ensure product decisions are data-driven and grounded in market insight, customer feedback, and financial performance.
- Develop and lead the Product Management team, setting expectations, building capability, and ensuring accountability for results.
Marketing Leadership
- Set and execute Cortec’s marketing strategy to support revenue growth, market penetration, and effective commercialization of the product portfolio.
- Oversee brand management, marketing communications, demand generation, and go-to-market execution.
- Ensure marketing strategies are tightly aligned with product strategy and commercial priorities.
- Translate product value propositions into clear, compelling messaging for customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, and hold the Marketing team accountable for execution, performance metrics, and continuous improvement.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Integration
- Serve as a key integrator between Product, Marketing, Sales, Strategic Growth, and Operations to ensure alignment from product strategy through customer execution.
- Support Sales and Strategic Growth teams with clear product positioning, tools, and market insight.
- Provide leadership input into commercialization planning, market expansion initiatives, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Ensure alignment between long-term product strategy and near-term commercial execution.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
| Minimum Education | Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field required. |
| Minimum Experience | Minimum 7 years of progressive manufacturing or industrial marketing experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience leading marketing teams or functions. Ability and willingness to travel as required to support business initiatives and alignment. |
