New Shower Cap Keeps Out Water and Stops Rust On Metal Parts

CorrCap™, the latest in protective "shower cap" designs, is the new Fall Fashion in easy wear for the automotive components, ends of brakes, engines, electrical assemblies and connectors. The snug fitting elastic cap easily slips over the end of exposed bare metal sections to seal out moisture, water, and corrosive atmospheres.

The simple-to-use slip-on/slip-off shower cap requires no chemical dosages or mixing, no tools or special application techniques. In one easy step, an operator covers the exposed end and protects virtually any multi-metal assembly. CorrCap™ offers the user a fast, effective method that any operator can use to protect exposed assemblies against corrosion for overnight, in storage, or during shipment.

Like a shower cap, CorrCap™ is highly flexible. It allows operators to easily cover almost any shape quickly. During storage or shipment of parts, the transparency of the CorrCap™ makes it easy to identify specific assemblies and to visually inspect the condition of an assembly without removing the elastic cap.

CorrCap™ stops oxidation, tarnish, corrosion, and rust. Effective for most ferrous and non-ferrous metals, Cortec's patented VpCI® forms a micro-thin inhibiting layer on exterior metal surfaces. Its unique vapor phase action reaches all recessed areas, voids, cut-outs, and crevices that are readily prone to overnight tarnish and flash rusting.

The micro-thin VpCI® layer provides clean, safe protection. Cortec® VpCI® does not require any removal. Parts are ready for immediate use without the need for cleaning or degreasing, thus saving labor, material, and chemical disposal costs.
