Helping Customers Confront Corrosion Costs with Custom Solutions
September 6, 2023
We are pleased to introduce Kristen Krohmer as our new Lead Customer Advocate at Cortec®! Kristen joined Cortec® on August 7th, bringing a cheerful “can-do” attitude to the customer service team. With her positive approach and strong background, she is on track to provide friendly, competent service to Cortec® distributors.
Kristen’s main tasks will be to work as a liaison between Cortec® and distributors to provide quotes on custom products and orders. Along the way, she hopes to document internal processes and introduce new efficiencies that will create more time to work with customers. She believes that building trust is a critical part of serving customers who are expecting a certain level of quality, timeliness, and consistency. One of her favorite parts of this process is the satisfaction of being able to help others. “I love the feeling of helping a customer solve a problem they’re having,” Kristen shared.
A strong education and work background will help Kristen achieve these goals. In addition to her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, with a Minor in Marketing, Kristen has eight years of experience in account and project management. This gives her a well-rounded skillset for working with a variety of internal and external customers and juggling the many moving parts that go into price quoting.
Although new to the corrosion control industry, Kristen has already found it interesting to learn that corrosion costs can equal as much as 3% of the U.S. GDP. With skills in hand and an eagerness to assist, Kristen is looking forward to helping customers get the custom corrosion solutions they need in order to confront this economic loss. Join us in welcoming Kristen to the team!
