CASE HISTORY SPOTLIGHT: Case History #619: Clamp and Powerline Protection at Wind Power Transfer Station

In 2005, a valve plant in India had been shut down by the State Pollution Control Board because levels of total dissolved solids, chlorides, and sulphates in spent hydrotest water were higher than allowed. In order to reopen, the plant needed to replace the hydrotest additive with one that would meet use and disposal concerns. They were cleared to add S-69 to their hydrotesting water and use the wastewater for gardening, thus solving
their corrosion and pollution problems with one cost-effective additive!
