CASE HISTORY SPOTLIGHT: Case History #463: Industrial Pipeline Preservation

An aluminum company in India needed a two year rust preventative solution for a pipeline that was already severely corroded in many areas. However, they were concerned that the rust removal process might leave the pipeline damaged. As a result, they decided to remove heavier rust with wire brushes and coat any corroded areas with CorrVerter^® Rust Converter Primer. This was followed by a topcoat of VpCI^®-386 Blue or Black over the entire pipeline to finish the preservation task. The client was pleased with the performance of the products (especially CorrVerter^®), which offered a satisfactory solution to their pipeline preservation needs.
