Cortec® Biotechnology Campus Passes First ISO Quality Surveillance Audit!

June 19, 2020

Cortec® is pleased to announce that its Cortec® Biotechnology Campus (CBC) in Sarasota, Florida, passed this year’s Surveillance Audit for ISO 9001:2015 with no non-conformities on February 11th, 2020. CBC received this internationally recognized Quality Management System (QMS) certification for the first time last year, passing the official audit with flying colors. While last year’s audit report highlighted a 99.9% on-time shipping record, CBC improved even more this year by reaching its goal of 100% on-time shipments. There were no product complaints or customer returns to report. CBC is equipped to manufacture a variety of Cortec’s popular water-based rust preventative products, providing an additional outlet for shipment of freezable items during the cold winters at Minnesota headquarters. It also provides a second base for the production of MCI®-2005/2005 NS corrosion inhibiting concrete admixture, which can earn projects credit toward LEED certification for those using a biobased product within a 500-mile (805 km) radius of manufacture.
