AMPP Italy Chapter 2026: Cortec® Returns to Genoa for 4th AMPP Conference & Expo 2026 – Visit us at Booth #32!

From June 9th to 12th, the EFC Italian Member Societies— Associazione Italiana di Metallurgia (AIM) and APCE will bring together specialists from Europe and around the world to explore the latest advances in corrosion prevention, engineering, and applied solutions.
Cortec® Corporation, together with its Italian distributor Carte Dozio, will participate in the 4th Corrosion & Protection Conference & Expo, organized by the AMPP Italy Chapter at the Magazzini del Cotone in Genoa’s historic Porto Antico. The two companies will display Cortec’s VpCI® technology solutions at a joint booth. Cortec’s VP of Sales for Europe, Ivana Radic Borsic, was invited again to co-chair the session "Corrosion Inhibition, Inspection & Monitoring" at this year’s conference. This year's edition will be guided by the slogan “Driving Innovation into Corrosion Management,” a message that perfectly summarizes the event's goal: to address new technological and industrial challenges related to corrosion and the protection of materials in increasingly strategic sectors.
The goal of the conference is to provide opportunities for researchers, technicians, end-users, and experts to interact and share valuable information on current issues and developments and consider innovative and sustainable solutions to corrosion. AMPP – the Association for Materials Protection and Performance represents one of the leading international associations for the world of corrosion, material protection, and industrial performance. It brings together professionals, companies, researchers, and experts from all over the world.
The Genoa conference has established itself as one of Europe’s most significant events in the sector, featuring around 160 technical presentations, two international plenary lectures, and over 50 exhibitors in the Expo area. The 2026 edition will focus heavily on the major themes of industrial and energy transition. Sessions will cover key areas such as Oil & Gas, Refineries, and Pipelines, as well as Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), Hydrogen Service, and Renewable Energy. Additionally, technical discussions will cover Coatings & Linings, Cathodic Protection, and Monitoring, Inspection, and Failure Analysis.
