Introducing the Ease of ‘One and Done’ Corrosion Solutions at SEMPPES
January 26, 2021
Special thanks are in order to our distributor Unconventional Solutions (USI) for inviting us to speak at the local Detroit Area Chapter of SEMPPES (South East Michigan Power Plant Engineers Society)! The monthly meeting proved to be a great opportunity to introduce new corrosion control ideas to engineers and vendors who work with power generation facilities at schools, hospitals, “Big Three” auto plants, utilities, and other industries in the region.
Jessica Carpenter (Regional Sales Manager – Michigan, northern Indiana, northern Ohio, and Pittsburgh) shared new ways to protect boilers, HVAC equipment, and critical spares from corrosion during layup and the off season. The simplicity of Cortec’s “one and done” technologies stood out in clear contrast to other options on the market. In particular, some companies used to relying on nitrogen purge were excited to discover VpCI® Technology as an effective corrosion protection alternative without the challenges of
nitrogen blanketing.
We were honored to be part of the chapter’s monthly education program last October and look forward to seeing how we can make life easier for those who need to maintain boilers, cooling towers, and other warehouse equipment corrosion free in the Detroit area power gen industry! Contact us if you
