The Lider Financial Investment Forum, held in the hall of the Westin Hotel in Zagreb, awarded prizes for the best small, medium, and large production investments in Croatia. The ceremony attracted numerous relevant participants from the Croatian and regional financial and business sectors. During the conference, EcoCortec's General Manager, Dijana Zrinski, participated in a panel discussion titled "Who invests in what and how to choose where to invest." During the panel, she discussed the company's CEO, Boris Miksic, logistics, investment strategies in Croatia, EcoCortec's market share, and its green approach to manufacturing processes. In front of a full auditorium, Ms. Zrinski explained EcoCortec's strategic plans and future acquisitions. "We are committed to meeting the needs of our customers by providing them with a top-quality, patented, and environmentally friendly product that is unmatched in the market," she stated. "EcoCortec^® benefits from excellent logistics, enabling us to ship our products quickly from Croatia to customers in Europe, Asia, and the USA. EcoCortec^® Ascends to New Heights as a European Leader in Green Anti-Corrosion Solutions

Boris Miksic, CEO of Cortec^® Corporation, invested €4.5 million in expanding Cortec's European subsidiary, EcoCortec^®. This investment included constructing a new production plant, acquiring equipment for polymer processing and regranulation, and installing solar power plants. The goal wasn't just to increase capacity but also to fully integrate a sustainable, circular economy into EcoCortec's operations. Notably, EcoCortec^® has become one of the first anti-corrosion packaging manufacturers in Europe with its own solar power plant. The purchase of new machinery, including a new Erema machine and a compounder, has complemented the entire production process at the plant. EcoCortec^® now produces high-quality masterbatch under Cortec^® Corporation license in Croatia. Within the company's recycling project, used films and bags are collected and returned by customers all over Europe after use and recycled in the Croatian plant. This reduces landfill waste, consumption of fresh raw materials, and energy. EcoCortec's circular economy model significantly reduces air
and water pollution as well as the carbon footprint. EcoCortec^® has also recently invested in new laboratory equipment to expand its testing capabilities.
