One of the world’s largest privately-owned yachts was taken to France for maintenance and repair. The pipes of the VACON drives needed to be cleaned from heavy scale in a very short timeframe. Cortec’s representative was able to supply the preservation and cleaning products within three days. A diluted solution of VpCI®-426 was used to remove scale and corrosion, followed by VpCI®-415 (also diluted) to neutralize the acid. A low dose of VpCI®-649 was used for closed-loop preservation. The solution proved to be efficient and satisfactory to the customer, who was pleased with the speedy assistance.
