Looking Forward to Fall in Philly with ACI!
October 2, 2024
Our Cortec MCI® team is looking forward to staying on the cutting edge of the concrete industry as they attend the ACI (American Concrete Institute) Concrete Convention this fall in Philly!
As many of you who participate in local chapters know, ACI is an important organization in which to learn about and advance concrete technology, as leading industry professionals gather to discuss specifications, best practices, and new research in the field of concrete. This fall, with the convention taking place in Philadelphia, where MCI® Regional Sales Manager Kevin Quan is based, we are especially eager to connect with professionals from near and far at “the world’s gathering place for advancing concrete.”
MCI® Technical & Product Sales Manager, Ashraf Hasania, will be joining Kevin to host our booth and attend a variety of committee meetings on topics highly relevant to MCI® technology:
• ACI 212 - Chemical Admixtures (where Ashraf is a consulting member)
• ACI 201 - Durability of Concrete
• ACI 222 - Corrosion of Metals in Concrete
• ACI 365 - Service Life Prediction
• ACI 243 - Seawater Concrete (the inaugural meeting for a brand-new committee!)
This will be a great opportunity to hear about the latest projects these committees have been working on and learn about new industry trends and ideas. Our team also plans to take advantage of the technical program to catch up on new research and see how discoveries and ideas are playing out in real-world projects.
We look forward to using these insights to serve you better in the world of applied MCI® technology and welcome you and your colleagues to connect with us during the conference if you find yourself in the area!
