Meet Josh Face: Ready to Take CAF to New Levels of Improvement!

January 21, 2021

We are pleased to introduce Josh Face as our new Plant Manager for Cortec® Advanced Films (CAF)! Josh started working at the Cambridge, Minnesota, plant on January 4th, 2021, and is eager to sustain and build on recent improvements in the areas of efficiency, scrap reduction, and significantly faster order response times.

CAF is in good hands, thanks to Josh’s expertise in management, continuous process improvement, and manufacturing data. Josh has a B.Sc. in Chemistry with a minor in Psychology from Bethel University. He has spent more than eight years in a chemical manufacturing environment, with experience in all three branches of technical, regulatory, and quality oversight. He is excited to put his practical knowledge to work for the good of CAF and its customers: “My number one goal is to ensure that this operation continues to grow, develop, and improve from where it is today.”

Josh has spent the last several years developing himself into a manufacturing data expert. In the process, he has uncovered creative new ways to extract and analyze data in order to optimize changes and new initiatives. “I plan to stretch this organization’s use of data to increase production efficiency, reduce unplanned equipment downtime, reduce its environmental impact, and continue developing CAF as a critical supplier to its customers,” commented Josh.

Join us in welcoming Josh to the team, and keep your eye out for forthcoming improvements from CAF, as we continue to develop and produce cutting edge VpCI® and “Eco” Technologies!
