Midstream Gas Plant Layup Guide

The decision to lay up a midstream gas plant is a serious one that must be accompanied by a responsible preservation plan. The best preservation plans are those like Cortec’s, which simplify product application and removal and require little to no monitoring during layup. Good corrosion protection makes it easier to bring equipment back online when the plant is recommissioned—first by avoiding extra repairs or replacement that might otherwise be required on corroded parts, and second by reducing the hassle required to remove the layup materials.
