Get Ready to AMPP up on Corrosion Solutions in Music City!

It’s time to start getting ready to tune up our corrosion control skills by heading over to the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo—this April at Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee!
AMPP is always a great place to dive deep into the science of corrosion control alongside engineers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and Cortec® experts. This year, in addition to enjoying the usual technical program and reuniting with familiar faces like Jessi Meyer (VP of Product Management, Technical Sales & Marketing), Eric Uutala (Technical Sales Manager), and Ming Shen (Sr. Scientist/ Manager Green Chemistry Initiatives), Cortec® has several special highlights you’ll want to flag on your agenda.
• Ming Shen, Ph.D., will be presenting a paper (co-authored by Product Development Chemist, Colin Gardner, and VP Sales Eastern North America, Mike Gabor) on “Preventing Electrostatic Damage with Effective and Circular-Economy Friendly Protection.” Plan to be in Room 103C at 8:30 a.m., Monday, April 7th, to hear her!
• Throughout the conference, our New Director of Innovation and Product Technologies, Rebecca Guza, Ph.D., will be dividing her time between the booth and technical sessions. Be sure stop by Booth #1300 during the expo grand opening, April 7th from 5:00-7:30 pm, to meet her!
• Our friends at General Air Products are winners of an AMPP Corrosion Innovation of the Year award for the Vapor Pipe Shield, a patented corrosion protection system that incorporates Cortec® VpCI® chemistry. Drop in to our booth after the Monday award ceremony to see the award on display and learn more about this groundbreaking technology that is UL listed for use in dry and pre-action fire sprinkler systems!
