We are proud to announce the launch of a new brochure for the EcoCortec® plant. EcoCortec® is a European subsidiary of Cortec® Corporation, a global corrosion inhibitor manufacturer. The plant was launched as the first Croatian bioplastics and anticorrosion films plant. Over the past 20 years, it has undergone numerous expansion projects, with the largest investment occurring in the past two years. Today, EcoCortec® is a leading bioplastics and anticorrosion packaging manufacturer in Europe. We produce innovative Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI®) films using patented Cortec® technology. The plant offers comprehensive packaging solutions, including extruding, converting, printing, recycling, and compounding. EcoCortec® provides a wide range of sustainable packaging options for corrosion protection of metals, including stretch, shrink, and ESD packaging. This is critical for manufacturers who want their metal goods to be protected in-process, stored, or shipped safely without fear of corrosion. It is also vital for facilities that need to keep critical spares and large or small assets corrosion-free during periods of layup or mothballing.
EcoCortec's plant complex has recently welcomed two new production facilities: a polymer processing facility and a regranulation facility, located near the existing plant. The new brochure contains in-depth information about EcoCortec's new equipment, manufacturing processes, technologies, products, customer service, in-house laboratory, and much more. It also highlights the company's dedication to sustainable manufacturing and the circular economy model. At EcoCortec®, we believe that our responsibility as a green manufacturer extends beyond our customers. As a leading VpCI®/VCI manufacturer in Europe, we fully embrace a responsible approach toward our community as well. The new brochure has been thoughtfully designed to provide our customers with an insightful overview of the dedicated work we do daily and the large assortment of solutions we offer on the market.
The plant is strategically located in Central Eastern Europe, enabling good logistics and fast delivery to customers across Europe, Asia, and the USA. As a part of our sustainability commitment, our facilities are powered by solar energy. By using renewable, solar power systems, EcoCortec® is now able to achieve significant energy savings and contribute to reducing pressure on our atmosphere from the emission of greenhouse gases. Our team is especially proud at our wide range of biodegradable, compostable, TUV certified packaging solutions including green developments in stretch, shrink and ESD packaging. Our “Collection and recycling initiative” is implemented as Europe-wide initiative to collect and recycle used VpCI® films and bags.
