Chs 749 - Cortec Corporation Every month, a leading manufacturer of Scotch Marine Firetube boilers typically ships one or two boilers overseas or to customers that cannot immediately install the boilers. For more than a decade, the manufacturer has been relying on the Boiler Lizard® to protect against the heightened risk of internal boiler corrosion during this interim period. They use an estimated average of 10-12 Boiler Lizards per month, placing the water-soluble pouches in the boiler watersides and slitting them open to release Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors. The manufacturer has never received any customer complaints about boiler rust while using the Boiler Lizard®.
