CASE HISTORY SPOTLIGHT: Case History # 434: Low-Cost Storage of CVR(T) Scimitar

The owner of a CVR(T) Scimitar wanted to store the reconnaissance vehicle outdoors while avoiding corrosion. Accordingly, HITEKnology helped the client preserve the coolant, oil, and fuel systems with Cortec® Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor additives. VpCI^®-132 Foam was placed in various areas around the outside of the vehicle. VpCI^®-101 Devices were added to electronic boxes. The final step was to wrap the equipment in VpCI^®-126 HP UV Shrink Film using a heat shrink gun, resulting in a low-cost outdoor preservation method for up to three years.
