Case History Spotlight #664: Corrosion Protection of Electrical Appliances During Overseas Export

A manufacturer of electrical appliances needed to protect the equipment from corrosion during overseas export and adopted the following three preservation steps:

1. Place VpCI^®-126 Film on the pallet.
2. Place the appliance on top of the pallet and apply VpCI^® Emitters and EcoSpray^™ Electronic Cleaner Protector VpCI^®-238 inside the appliance.
3. Wrap the appliance with VpCI^®-126 Film and enclose in a wooden box.

The customer was very satisfied with the economical, effective solution and continued using Cortec^® Technology after experiencing positive results with the first application.
