Years ago, a manufacturer of oil and gas “Christmas trees” and other equipment was using different Cortec® hydrotesting corrosion inhibitors at various locations around the world. They decided to streamline their product selection by standardizing the use of VpCI®- 649 at all locations. They also purchased VpCI® concentration test kits to know when the solutions needed to be topped up with more VpCI®-649. Thanks to Cortec’s global distribution network and the ability to procure the same products in Houston as in Singapore, the company was able to harmonize product selection while meeting their global spec and continued to do so for years to come.
