CASE HISTORY SPOTLIGHT: Case History #251: Minnesota Winter Boat Storage with MilCorr®

A private yacht owner wanted to protect his boat from corrosion during long Minnesota winter months. He chose to wrap the boat in MilCorr® VpCI® Shrink Film, which would protect the boat from corrosion instead of just covering the boat as other shrink films do. The MilCorr® was draped over a wooden frame on the boat’s deck, then pulled down and tied around the hull. Heat was applied to shrink the film around the straps and the wooden frame. The boat owner was very happy with the performance of MilCorr®, which he used annually with good results to protect the boat from snow, ice, and corrosion.
