Chs323 - Cortec Corporation In 2007, an air force base was working on a “green” initiative in which it evaluated the environmental impact of all products and found as many alternatives as possible. When it came to boiler and cooling systems, they needed to find replacements for some of the harsh and potentially damaging chemicals that had been used. Cortec’s Boiler Lizard® and Cooling Loop Gator® were selected for seasonal preservation of cooling and heating systems. These materials are easy to apply and offer advantages for worker productivity and safety, helping them take an important step toward lowering environmental impact with these clean and efficient procedures.
